This lecture was given on January 28, 2023, at the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, D.C., as part of the intellectual retreat entitled, "Theology of the Body."

--

"In these 130 catecheses, John Paul is arguing that the body communicates in a way that is not arbitrary and that is not incidental to the person; that is, fallen but redeemed through Christ, and therefore requires Christians, by the grace of Christ, to work hard to reconstruct… an objective reality of how the body is created and what it is created to communicate." —Fr. Thomas Petri, O.P.
